Every autumn our woodlands burst into life with a wonderful display of Fungi. Although a lot of the varieties of Fungi in this gallery are easily found, there are a few varieties that are less common. Although several fungi found in the UK are edible, it is best to avoid doing this unless you are certain of your identification, because varieties like the Death Cap Fungus will kill if eaten.
