This talk shows examples, and I talk about the amazing range and variety of Fungi that can be found in the UK.
Fungi are important to our eco system because they play a critical role as decomposers and help to maintain ecological balance. I show easily identifiable Fungi like Fly Agarics, as well as rarer Fungi that are nowhere near as common. I explain that nowadays, with identification apps on a mobile phone, it is much easier to identify them, so you know which ones are safe to eat, as well as which are poisonous.
